Responsibilities :
As Senior Software Development Engineer, included in the Travel team, you are responsible for developing new functionalities and maintenance within the R&D department. The technical context is web application linked to some asynchronous process corresponding to business travel search engines. Experimented on similar programs, you will be a technical advisor who participates in identifying opportunities and good practices, to build robust software.
To succeed in this role you should be energetic, motivated, and results-oriented. You are self directed and disciplined with good technical skills. You are also a strong team player, and an experience in agile development will help you completing your mission.
You work closely with the other departments including Product Management and Quality Assurance to deliver a high quality product to our customers.
Your core responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Collaborate with Development teams and Product Management to define new product features
- Propose new techniques to increase the productivity of the team
- Design and develop new features
Required Skills:
Skills for the candidate will include most of the following:
- Must be experienced in software development (3-5 years)
- Good programming skills in C# (2 years)
- Good knowledge of .NET frameworks (3.5 or 4.0)
- Solid knowledge on some of the following technologies: Web Services, MultiThreading, Oracle, SQL, Web Programming (Ajax/jQuery/Javascript/HTML...)
- Agile programming (Scrum)
- Profiling experience
- Professional English is required
Required Education and Experience:
- Master of Science in Computer Engineering or Software Development
- 3/6 years of professional experience in software engineering
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks is a plus
- 1+ year of agile methodology experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Delphi 6 is a plus
- Knowledge of some workflow engine is a plus
