Use of RSS feeds
RSS feeds are an easy and quick way to keep track of the latest changes and information add ed to a web page. You can use it directly from your web browser or homepage ("Netvibes" for example).
RSS feeds are represented by this logo :
I. Internet explorer 7.0
1. Click on the RSS button at the top right of your page.
2. Click on subscribe to this feed.
3. Choose a name and a folder: here the name is KDS RSS and the folder is created by default.
4.You have now susbcribed to the KDS RSS feeds. To see the latest KDS information click on the star at the top left, then click on Feeds and choose the KDS feeds (name here is KDS RSS).
II. Mozilla Firefox 2
1. Click on the RSS button at the top right of your page.
2. Click on subscribe to this feed.
Choose a name and a folder here the name is KDS RSS and the folder is created by default.
3. You have now subscribed to the KDS RSS feeds. To see the latest Information on KDS click on Bookmarks then Bookmarks toolbar folder and choose the KDS RSS feeds (here called KDS RSS). Or Simply click on KDS RSS in your toolbar.
III. Netvibes or any other Homepage
1. Click on the RSS button at the top right of your page.
2. Copy the adress at the top of the screen.
3. Open your homepage (here we use "Netvibes"). Then click on add a feed, paste the adress and finally click on add.
4. The latest KDS information now appears on your homepage.
