KDS Survey 2017: The Connected Traveller and the impact on Business Travel

Today’s workforce are mature digital users with expectations that corporate tools and technologies will measure up to their consumer counterparts. A good business travel software is therefore important to any business traveller.

That’s why KDS recently conducted a survey of 411 business travellers based in the UK to better understand their behaviours, challenges and expectations when it comes to the tools and processes associated with business travel and  hence mesure the importance of use of a business travel software.

A few key findings we uncovered, include:

  • 98% of business travellers consider themselves advanced (60%) or intermediate (38%) users of digital tools.
  • More than half (58%) of business travellers are spending as much as 60 minutes booking business travel.
  • 51% of business travellers feel it is important to be digitally connected – even while on vacation.
  • 39% of business travellers would like the travel booking process to be more personalized – taking preferences and habits into account.
