London, UK and the KDS Now Conference, Paris, France – June 11th 2015:- KDS, a global provider of corporate Travel and Expense (T&E) Management software solutions today announced new ‘industry first’ innovations to KDS Neo, which further support today’s business traveller optimise the efficiency of their connected, door to door, corporate travel.
KDS Neo already allows travellers to plan and book multi-modal yet connected door-to-door trips in just seconds and claim expenses automatically. Now KDS Neo can also learn each traveller’s preferences and previous behaviours to offer personalised itineraries, still optimised for efficiency and compliant with corporate policy. Additionally, options from new era travel and accommodation service providers, outside of usual global distribution systems (GDSs), can now also be included if desired, while an on-trip companion places essential information easy to hand, via Apple Watch. In detail, new developments within KDS Neo include:
- KDS Neo: Personalised Trip Search – When planning a trip, users can expect not only a complete door-to-door itinerary, as is unique to KDS Neo, but now also enjoy personalised results from their searches. Their typical flight, train and hotel preferences for example, ideal travel times and other trip priorities can now be learned by KDS Neo and intelligently considered and presented within proposed schedules.
- KDS Neo: Content Hub – Not all travel and accommodation suppliers present content via global distribution systems (GDSs), especially in the new digital era. These increasingly important new supplier sources can now have their content swiftly accommodated, by their own developers, for the benefit of KDS Neo users. An ever increasing range of taxi, car hire, parking, hotel and other services all certified, tested and available to the KDS Neo traveller.
- KDS Neo: Move – an on-trip companion offering timely, useful information and key journey facts via your mobile phone or Apple Watch. Am I on time? What’s my ETA? Which gate for my flight? How long for airport security? Where are my colleagues? And your electronic boarding card is ready to present when you need it. Waiting for your KDS Neo-booked taxi? Move is already showing contact details of the firm. Need to change travel plans at short notice? All you need is in one place. Have your own favourite travel apps, such as for restaurants that would serve you better on-trip if they automatically knew your itinerary? Now you can link them into Neo in just a couple clicks.
“As consumers in an interconnected world, we enjoy incredibly intelligent and personalised digital solutions and services, so surely we should expect the same from corporate travel and expense management tools,” said Dean Forbes, CEO at KDS. “KDS Neo empowers business travellers to design and book their smart, interconnected door to door travel in seconds, avoiding the hassle of using multiple consumer travel apps, whilst keeping within corporate policy and free from expense claim bureaucracy.”
KDS Neo Personalised Trip Search and Content-Hub are available now. KDS Neo Move will be available this fall. For more details on these developments, see www.kds.com
