The KDS management team comprises talented executives who share a passion and enthusiasm for streamlining processes in business travel and expense management. They are professionals drawn from tech start-ups to global software organisations, consulting firms, airlines, travel and expense management companies.
Roxana assumed her position as CEO in December 2016 after leading the successful acquisition of KDS by American Express Global Business Travel (GBT). Roxana was previously in charge of developing business and strategic planning at KDS as EVP Operations & CFO.
Prior to joining KDS, she served as CFO and HR Director at Nobel Biocare (leading providers of medical devices). Before that, she worked alongside the management team at Mercury Interactive (US NASDAQ software company acquired by HP) to grow the business in both revenue and headcount. She also held senior management positions at Total Immersion (software startup) and Hitachi.
Roxana graduated from EDC Paris business school and holds an Executive MBA from ESCP Europe (In French & English)
Prior to KDS, Fred co-founded Almonde, an award-winning banking Basel II and Asset-Liability Management software provider later acquired by Misys. Fred held various engineering management roles at Thomson Reuters and Misys, where he managed the development of the Enterprise Risk solution, and later the Kondor+ Treasury solution (140 developers).
Fred holds a DEA from Jussieu University where he studied Operating Systems and Theory of Computing. Rumor has it that Fred has been coding since he could walk! With a real passion for computers and mathematics – he has won maths competitions! – Fred has remained on the cutting edge of technology for the last 30 years.
Cédric de Chivré is in charge of the product department at KDS. Previously, Cédric was KDS Consulting & Training Director, in charge of KDS Professional Services.
Muriel joined KDS in 2013 to lead the company’s professional services and customer support functions to new levels of excellence. After many years for IT companies, operating largely around helpdesk, hotline and software support, Muriel moved into business travel, building teams to support online booking applications and deploying software best practices.
Founded in 1994 as the first online booking tool in Europe, KDS established itself over 20 years as a global leader in innovative online travel and expense management, helping over 4,000 customers and 2 million users in more than 60 countries, to complete 7 million T&E transactions annually on its award-winning Neo platform.
The company was acquired in 2016 by American Express Global Business Travel and now operates as a fully-owned, stand-alone entity of the GBT Group.
