KDS strengthens management team to accelerate international expansion

Laurent Demaret named Executive Vice President of Global Sales at KDS,
Kate Roe appointed Head of Marketing EMEA at Amex GBT

Issy-les-Moulineaux, February, 2 2017 – KDS, a leader in corporate travel and expense management solutions, announced that Laurent Demaret has been named Executive Vice President of Global Sales, while Kate Roe, currently the Vice President of Marketing at KDS, is also taking on the role of Head of Marketing for American Express Global Business Travel (GBT).

With more than 15 years of experience in technology, sales and management holding positions at Sybase, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Hyperion and Oracle, Laurent Demaret more recently has held the title of VP Sales Southern & Central Europe at KDS. He has helped develop and retain a broad portfolio of clients and nurtured strong relationships with KDS’s partner eco-system. This new role will include overseeing all sales, partner and presales teams globally. His primary objective is to position KDS as the world leader in corporate travel and expense management solutions.

Kate Roe, currently VP of Marketing for KDS, will expand her focus to include marketing for GBT in EMEA. Kate will maintain her KDS marketing and communications responsibilities and will also immediately assume responsibilities for GBT EMEA marketing. Kate will optimise marketing plans and resources across KDS and GBT and further accelerate marketing plans and initiatives for key markets in EMEA for GBT. Kate has held marketing management positions at Digital River, Hybris Software, Travelport and Ariba.
